Happy You Hippie Me

Sam Gray Singing
Songs About Humans

First up, the debut EP from Nick Raven – Happy You Hippie Me. “Nice acoustic music…but then you’re flying – and everything is echoing – and its summer in 1971.” Like the sound of that? Then Nick Raven could be your musical man. He has just released a brand new single from his fortchoming album – ”Butterfly High (But I Fly So High)”. Have a listen to it here.

Sam Gray Singing Songs About Humans’ first European review called the album a “masterpiece” and an “impossibly beautiful piece of art” (Alex Thiel at disagreement.net). Multi-instrumentalist Sam Gray recorded his new album in Norway and Austria; and it’s now available in his homeland of New Zealand.

Mark Airlie “Murmers From A Fallen House” was recorded between 1985 and 1997. It’s varied and beautiful, and a good listen throughout. Visit his Bandcamp page for more evidence: http://markairlie.bandcamp.com/album/mark-airlie-murmurs-from-a-fallen-house

In the future…

The Come Down Kid has arrived…this is the new project from Simon Mallett, formerly of Bored Gordon. You can check him out on theaudience.co.nz, and his new EP will be out next month. Watch this space…
